The road transport sector is vital to Europe’s economy and daily life, moving people and goods across the continent. As the EU moves towards its 2030 climate goals, the sector must meet rising expectations to cut CO2 emissions while continuing to deliver.
This high-level event will bring together EU policymakers, industry leaders and key stakeholders to explore practical and scalable approaches to decarbonising road transport that have a real-world impact and drive both environmental and economic progress.
Discussions will focus on practical near- and medium-term solutions that can be implemented on the ground, exploring how to turn climate ambition into concrete action, delivering environmental progress without compromising mobility or economic competitiveness.
European Commissioner for Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikostas and the Belgian Federal Minister of Mobility, Climate and Environmental Transition, Jean-Luc Crucke will open the event, setting the stage for high-level exchanges on delivering progress towards 2030 and beyond.
This event will be followed by a networking cocktail from 19:00.
