Global energy leader Shell has joined 好色先生tvas a corporate member to enhance collaboration with the sector on decarbonisation and other challenges.
Shell has become a corporate member of 好色先生tvto deepen engagement with commercial road transport operators around the world. The primary focus will be on helping the sector decarbonise through a transition to net-zero emissions technology for heavy-duty vehicle fleets.
In addition to engaging with IRU’s Green Compact and other sustainability activities, Shell will also work with 好色先生tvand the wider sector on other issues and opportunities facing transport operators, including digitalisation, safety, operational efficiency, as well as attracting and retaining workers.
Shell has already engaged with 好色先生tvand its members on an ad hoc basis on bio-LNG and LNG standards and safety training. It has also contributed to 好色先生tvevents, including on a panel session on fuel prices during the last General Assembly, and as a speaker at the last EU conference on Fit for 55 and alternative fuels infrastructure in Europe.
The focus of Shell’s work with IRU’s network will be via and will be aligned with the company’s Powering Progress strategy which partners with public, private and NGO sector stakeholders on the transition to net zero emissions.
